How America Preserves Forest Lands, One Seedling at a Time

Every year about 1.5 million tree seedlings come to life at a state-of-the-art nursery in Nebraska. It’s called the Charles E. Bessey Nursery and it’s the oldest tree seedling nursery run by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service. Lesia Bakalets traveled to Halsey, Nebraska, to see how it all works.
